The questions with a capital Q
Why do I live like this? Do I have to? Can I do better? If so, how?
I owe it to myself to ask myself The Real Questions.
- What brings me joy? What brings me fulfillment?
- What are my values?
- How much money is enough?
- How much success is enough?
- What does success mean to me?
- What do I like about myself and my life?
- What do I dislike / hate about myself and my life?
- What are the things I can do on a day to day that can improve my life and happiness incrementally? (Exercise, meditation ,mindfulness)
- What brings meaning to my life?
- What are the current habits or mindsets that get in the way of my happiness and potential?
- What are the big scary things about my life I need to inspect, and maybe challenge? (Relationships, children, job, career, spirituality, goals)?
- What are the things I can change and what can I not? How many of the things I cannot change are excuses to myself? How do I know the difference? What is really stopping me?
- Where in my life do I feel stuck?
- How much of my inaction is risk aversion and how much is inertia?
- And this is a big one - What is the cost of change? And what is the cost of staying the course?
