The accidental detox
What happens when a world imaginary yet real chooses to collapse within itself, annihilation they call out loud but that dystopian is far stretched to be comprehended for physicality to experience. Yet, for a subjective individual withdrawing from an addiction would be a close reference to that “annihilation” wherein the person’s internal universe is under chaos or rather a transformation from what it was being treated to eventually changing the very biology at the core. Though the prints of identity are stuck, that identity is a layer one cannot scratch off so easily.
The current currents of exposure to the world wide casted web have everyone deluded to choose and confirm their biases yet maintaining a fluidity in terms of identity because one day you can choose to be a guitarist and the very next day a vocal activist. But are our actions our identity, just because I study I am a student, but hey I can study even as an adult. Language is to concur here, for each word the interpreted meaning is too vague, and generalized and does not capture the essence of the emotions.
Talking about the detox, the continuous stream of content has fairly been reduced for me at least for last 3 months and am selectively choosing which content/curator I watch, probably giving a false sense of perception of holding the power of choice to myself but at least choosing things on voluntary basis unlike what I think a monkey in zoo might feel, just as we watch it, for it also watches us and considers us a new character or a new tv show every time a person sees/acts towards it.
