I think yes, I am. And maybe it’s because I’m feeling like her liking nelson enough to date him is like her taking his side? This person, whom I carry so much grudge and dislike and disrespect for, my own best friend (Who I was convinced at the time would have been on my side had I spoken to her about it) is dating him, haha.

So am I then forced to reconsider the narrative I’ve been holding on to this whole time? About him being a villain and me being the victim?

Yes. I am. And maybe this is the reality check I need that can help me achieve closure and reduce the power of this past.

You both were stupid and did stupid things. You can blame him, you can blame yourself, but you need to move on.

I know that the past was painful and holds a power over you. But you need to learn to address it and let it lose its power over you.

You’re immensely lucky that you found someone you love. Focus on building that beautiful future together
