Separation?
During my meditation practice today, I had a realization that has left me feeling both elated and bewildered. For the first time, I understood that the boundary between myself and the external world may not actually exist.
In our everyday lives, we tend to view the world as something separate from ourselves. We see ourselves as individuals moving through a world of objects and other people. But during my meditation, I felt for a fraction of a second that this separation may be nothing more than an illusion. Yeah, i read of course about that. But its the first time i really experienced it.
After this , I feel strange: On the one hand, I perceived the world as if for the first time; on the other hand, I experienced distance and absence without being absent.
