questions #001: humans & dreams
ask a question at the bottom!
If you could, would you mass delete all humans from the world? (26th October, 2026)
There would be a lot of animals that missed humanity if we vanished, pets of course, but I think forest creatures too would wonder about us. Plants as well, we don't acknowledge how much we live in relationship with them and that a lot of species would end with us. We live in a fallacy I can't articulate properly, where life is considered important because we are life, and we don't know anything else. Humanity's adults mostly haven't learned to appreciate the other rocky planets for the fact that they simply are, only in relation to what resources could be extracted from them. On the flip side, the rareness and specialness of life as we know it on this planet hasn't seemed to be a convicing enough point, to the people in power, against our total decimation. I would choose not to delete us -- though if I did press the other button, it wouldn't matter either way, as the Earth will turn whether we exist or not, and there would be nobody left to talk about it.
Have you ever had a dream that, that you, um, you had, your, you- you could, you'll do, you- you wants, you, you could do so, you- you'll do, you could- you, you want, you want them to do you so much you could do anything? (29th October, 2026)
I've definitely had days where I wanted them to do me so much that the excitement had me mad worked up with motivation to declutter my hard drive and deep clean my bathroom and cook up a week of meals, then crash fast asleep dreaming entire movies at a time.
