NaNoWriMo, Niche Edition!

I just discovered Nicheless from Hacker News. I really like the design and concept so far. Also, the 300 word post limit -- combined with the fact that today is November 1st -- has given me an idea:

NaNoWriMo is a annual competition to write a novel within a month, starting November 1st. The minimum word count goal is 50,000 words, something that feels unattainable to me...

... but what if I did a mini-version of NaNoWriMo here on Nicheless instead? 300 words a day is attainable, and 300 words x 30 days = 9000 more words than I have written in several years.

Writing a novel anonymously, in public, feels liberating as well: that I can share an unpolished literal work-in-progress, and not be ashamed that every is not Shakespeare-worthy.

Plus, it would be a unique way to try this platform out!
