idea(l)s matter

we have to realise that us staying with big tech social media is like a double-bind. We do it to stay connected to everyone - which is what most people do - or to reach many people - whilst our bubbles are negotiated by their owners, market logics and power games - power games that are entangled with the global arms trade and logics of war and hatred - it is surprising how stepping away from big tech social media, raises the question: 'what do we even truly post for?' arises with a different urgency again. A clarity of new possibilities, important questions and creative world-making that does not split, choose gaslighting over ideals and truth, right there - on the horizon.
