Crow widow
I am a crow widow. Tonight the crows took my wife from me. I knew this day was coming. They called to her for months, drew her with shiny gifts. And she courted them too, attracted by their intellect, the prehistoric tilt of their heads.
She was always too good for me. I knew that from the start. But I never imagined I would lose her to the crows so soon.
