at least beggars ask for things, say loudly what they want

i could afford to beg more

whereas choosers can live sheltered from ever making true decisions due to always being presented with their options, never calling out for what they desire

my love says it’s easier to live in negation, to say what you don’t want, plenty of us never even do that

are you begging or choosing lately? where do your options come from? who says what you get to choose from?
