Batman & BTS
I went to see Batman. The one in which Rob uses a ton of eyeliner.
Enter Screen 4: The gender ratio is messed up, not a surprise.
During the intermission, I got to know, not very far away there is a place where the gender ratio is much more messed up. Screen 5, The BTS Concert Live Streaming.
Now, how did I feel to witness this interesting convergence?
In a time when we hail for gender equality, we pay little attention towards what we are conditioned to like. Talking, Critiquing out of our tender comfort zones. Sure, there are more important aspects regarding gender inequality to be worried about, but if you ever happen to be laid back, staring into oblivion only because thoughts seem all too mundane, it might be a good idea to tune in to a BTS song or watch Batman.
It's all about not being a hopeless romantic about the inequalities and injustices we encounter in our lives.
After all, no good ever came to Romeo and Juliet? Right?
Romeo, represents hopeless romantics who whine at injustice around them and won't move an inch out of their zone to correct the world.
Of course, we need Romeos. To keep the change.org website up and running!
Needless to say (but I will, as people around me failed to grasp the metaphor), Juliet is the idyllic world every Romeo dreams about but never quite gets to it.
