Of Fire and Rain
Remember that time I had a meltdown and we talked my worries away over some terrible whiskey and dangerous Oreos, with rain pattering over the rooftop?
You told me that you believe life is now- a discussion with a friend over a drink, some cookies, some tears, some laughs, and all the love in the world.
We spoke about how nothing is real, how corrupt the religious leaders are, how absurd casteism is, and how as much as we loved our parents, our biggest fears was becoming them. I think we concluded that discussion by establishing that the earth will end in fire(there, Robert Frost-now you know) and that our solace would be knowing we wouldn’t be around long enough to see that.
