Clarinet sound goals

Tone is rich and thick like treacle and just as sweet. Full breath support. All registers responding obediently and enthusiastically. Confidence and control when entering the Altissimo register.

Like Bobby Gordon and Dan Levinson, who both played clarinet with Leon Redbone. Like the great Ken Peplowski. Like Annie Larsen, completely in control of her breathtakingly gorgeous tone, timbre and dynamics.

A sound that I enjoy producing and others enjoy hearing.
