My clinic has been objectively doing well. Two of my fellow chiefs reached out to me to ask the secret to our success. I attributed our success to: a)Size
b)stability
c)Culture
d)tools
For size, we are small and when you look at the performance of the small vs. the large clinics, small wins. For stability, no other clinic has had the same providers for longer. For culture, we have a tradition of excellence. Our expectation is that no matter what the measure is, we should be in the top 3. We have a weekly huddle. We share problems and solutions. It helps that we like each other. For tools, we make use of whatever tools we have available, whether it’s PSS or mass emails.
