I bought a Pixel 7 Pro 7 months ago in anticipation of Google's AI advances. I used MusicML yesterday and ChatGPT plugins for the first time today. Elon Musk with his rocket technology will let us setup a moon base and do research that will propel us to becoming a multi-planetary species, with a base on Mars. With Optimus, Gigafactories, Tesla AI, and his obvious pivot towards fusion, purchase of GPUs for Twitter and dramatic redesign(laying the foundation for X(SUPERAPPS LFG)he bought good bones with tech debt, and he's cutting through the bullshit brilliantly.) Sam, Greg, Mira, and team are doing something incredible with GPT, but the feedback mechanisms are simplistic it feels like. This system should be much more adaptive. I guess for the sake of safety it isn't. Google has the users, critical fucking mass. The data flywheel is starting to spin at a billion RPMs. Europa Clipper might find alien life in our solar system. Google Gecko will run PaLM 2(GPT4ish) on a smartphone, and Gemeni is on it's way(tool focused and better foundation model w/planning). We need more fun. I like Worldcoin; terrified of AI deception; we OBVIOUSLY need UBI. Most of the world has no idea this stuff exists. Autonomous robots are already in the works. Just picture Optimus building Optimus. Extrapolate that to biomimetic and novel robotic designs. Then consider it's already been used for war and policing. The future is already somewhat developed; it just hasn't been deployed at scale, and there are many gaps to fill in. That will lay a new foundation for new discovery. How high will our towers be? Let's also consider we'll never know it all. What are we becoming? What about everyone becoming super intelligent? What about super actualized? ¿Que mas problemas?
