Recently, Purina released a new product, Petivity: Smart Litterbox Monitor System. This is a scale that you place under a litter box, and it monitors inferences of feline health over time. Less than a year ago, my colleague shared with me a similar idea and even had an excellent little prototype with an ESP32 uploading data to a free version of InfluxDB. We even had a lovely weekend meeting to talk about its marketability.
